Well I'll be off soon to World Con.

It'll be 5 days of crazy and fun. I'll be working though, watching Rene's daughter for the full 5 days and nightdemons daughter HappyBaby for the Thursday, Friday and Monday. I won't be doing the masquerade as time, energy, money and life got in the way. I'm sure it will still be a blast.

I'm looking forward to meeting Neil Gaiman, if it wasn't for him (and the friend that gave me the comic) I doubt I'd have ever ready comics. I love his work and have for many years, I'm still at a loss as to what to get signed. The first comic I ever read? Neverwhere, which is looking a little tattered? Good Omens, the book I've bought used copies of to give to others? or Coraline, my newer fave? I'm sure I'll figure out which one(s) before tomorrow or Monday.

till then, I'm off... meeting up with friends I haven't seen in years and some I've seen much more recently.

Can't wait.

It's less than a week till Polaris. I'm not sure where the time went but suddenly it's July and the con is days away!

I'm looking forward to seeing some great people that I don't see that often and having a chance to hang out with a few wonderful women that I wished I lived closer to.

I'll be introducing a friend of mine to his first con, so that will be tons of fun. I am slightly worried though as thefrenchmaid and him might cause a ruckus. I haven't forgotten the last time they saw each other and it was the first time they met and boy were they TROUBLE!

Oh yeah and the guest list is pretty darn amazing! I'm beside myself... Claudia Black AND Michelle Forbes, mmmm. Yeah it'll be a good con :D

I have to say that of the photos of the guests, this one is my favorite.





Gareth David-Lloyd is awesome! I was totally smitten with him and it all started when I saw him on Friday evening. After this photo was taken he proceeded to tell me that I now owed him 50 pound for it... when I told him I didn't have that on me the then said that it had to be in the proper currency. I had to let him know that all my pound notes were at home and yes I was telling the truth I did have British currency, just not on me.
